The Center is based on four eternal core values: Dignity. Service. Excellence. Justice. Our goal is to achieve optimal patient outcomes through accountability, responsibility, collaboration, professional growth and development of each healthcare team member. To fulfill this ideal, we have developed the following organizational/environmental elements in support of our care-givers.

Our shared Governance Model gives a voice to our staff nurses in decisions regarding their professional practice and work environment. Our Nurses lead and participate on shared governance councils, which include:

Based on the Novice to Expert theory by Patricia Benner, RN, Ph.D., FAAN, our Clinical Practice Model provides a framework for the professional growth.  Within the model we offer a clinical ladder, preceptor and mentor programs, internships, extensive education, and rewards and recognition for individual accomplishments.
