"What I like about working here is the common goal of the physicians, nursing, technical and support staff to provide quality medical services exemplifying the core values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.
"We have a unique staff made up of radiologic technologists, nurses and support staff who on a daily basis perform a variety of fluoroscopic-assisted interventional procedures; the number of different procedures is currently at 43. Our patients include adult and pediatric outpatients and inpatients. The scope of practice includes acute critical care transfer patients and same-day ambulatory patients. The procedural suites are similar to “mini-operating rooms,” where sterile technique is observed and many procedures are performed under general anesthesia or sedation. Many of the procedures now performed in the Interventional Radiology dept. are an alternative to previous “surgical intervention only” cases. Our procedures continue to grow and evolve as technological advancements for fluoroscopic-assisted devices become available."
