"I had just graduated from nursing school in 1974 and my instructor knew the supervisor here in Obstetrics and with her recommendation I was hired. I loved OB and knew about the great reputation St. Joseph has, and was thrilled to be able to work here. It is a very warm place to work. I am so proud to work here because of the good work we do and because we are so well known in the community. And, St. Joseph Hospital takes such good care of their employees.
"I, along with Dr. (E. Michael) Linzey, began this department in 1979. I have seen it grow into a group that works well together. We have a combined total of 150 years of experience. We are a family sharing each other’s celebrations and trials."
