We offer a full menu of continuing education courses, from Basic Dysrhythmia to Advanced Fetal Monitoring and from Emergency Department Cross Training to Open Heart Surgery. Our non-clinical courses range from Conflict Resolution to Spanish for Healthcare Providers.
A variety of Nursing Internships
Our specialty training programs are open to experienced nurses seeking to expand their skills as well as new grads needing additional training to enter their chosen specialty. Internships include Labor & Delivery (a 12-week orientation), Emergency Nursing (a 12 to 16-week program), Telemetry (a 10-week program), Critical Care (a 12-week program), Peri-Operative (a 24-week orientation) and Post-Anesthesia (a 12-week program).
Additional Programs
We have established four levels of expertise and responsibility for bedside nurses, as clearly defined in our
Clinical Career Ladder. Our Certification Bonus program recognizes employees for acquiring knowledge in a clinical specialty beyond their job requirements.
To help busy care givers, we have on-site nursing programs to secure an Associate Nursing degree or a BSN degree. Our Scholarship program offers annual assistance to Renal Center nurses and technicians, staff nurses, healthcare-related individuals as well as Cath Lab nurses and technicians.
