Exercise Physiologist
Sue Arevalo has always had a vast interest in fitness, human movement and healthy living. She holds many degrees including a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Physiology, AFAA Personal Trainer Certification, AFAA Primary Certification, AFAA Step Certification, ACE Personal Trainer Certification, and Keiser, Schwinn and Star Trac Spin/Cycle Certifications. In November of 2003, Sue began working with the Bariatric Care Center teaching and becoming actively involved with each post-op patient.
Along with her interest in the Bariatric Care Center patients, Sue also is a personal trainer at SCAR (Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation), and teaches group exercise classes at the 24-Hour Sports Club in Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda, the Lake Shore Towers 24 Hour Ultra Sport Club, the Sports Club in Irvine, and LA Fitness in Tustin. Sue states, "I have always been fascinated with fitness, human movement, healthy living, exercise and music. I have been teaching group exercise classes since 1985." Her hobbies include water skiing, scuba diving, reading, music, art, bowling, aerobics and indoor cycling.
