The St. Joseph Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center has adopted the breast cancer care guidelines established by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). These guidelines represent a recognized standard of care for cancer diagnosis and treatment. They are updated each year through a collaborative process involving the review of medical evidence by multi-disciplinary panels of nationally known physician experts. The guidelines are then reviewed and updated again by the St. Joseph Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center team to incorporate any additional information that may have been published after the last NCCN update. |
