For more than 30 years, the St. Joseph Hospital Kidney Transplant Center has been a leader in helping renew the lives of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients. Over the past five years, our Kidney Transplant Medical Director, Ervin Ruzics, M.D., has performed more kidney transplants in Orange County than any other surgeon. He and an experienced and highly qualified team assure that all transplant patients receive personalized, attentive care—helping heal the body, mind and spirit. This heartfelt commitment is reflected in our patient survival and transplant success rates, which consistently exceed national averages.

In fact, the St. Joseph Hospital Kidney Transplant Center has the highest one-year patient survival and transplant success rates in Southern California for patients transplanted over the past six years.

Anyone with CKD may be evaluated for transplant candidacy at St. Joseph Hospital Kidney Transplant Center. You or a loved one may be referred by your primary care physician, nephrologist, or dialysis center, or you may refer yourself.
