Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.), also known as podiatrists and podiatric surgeons, specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foot and ankle disorders. Podiatric surgeons practicing at St. Joseph Hospital are among only 400 physicians nationwide who are board certified in foot and ankle reconstruction. Additionally, some orthopedic surgeons on our staff specialize in the treatment of the foot and lower extremity. Both are an integral part of the Orthopedic team at St. Joseph Hospital.
