The Pain Clinic offers a wide variety of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal injections for patients who have failed to respond to conservative treatment, such as medications and behavior modification. Anesthesiologists and staff skilled in pain management work closely with St. Joseph Hospital neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgeons from a program recently named among the top 50 in the nation. Referrals to the Pain Clinic are made by primary care physicians as well as surgeons and other physician specialists. All referring physicians receive feedback reports on all consultations and treatments. The clinic is open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at the St. Joseph Hospital Outpatient Pavilion, 1140 W. La Veta Avenue, on the 2nd floor.
