Radiology and Imaging Services leadership team
All of our radiologic technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or as California Radiologic Technologists (CRT). Rad techs and nurses gently perform quality radiology examinations and procedures, including diagnostic X-rays, Computed Tomography (CT) scans, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans, and Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound procedures. The clinical staff has not only had formal education, they have also received sub-specialty training and certification in specific modalities. Because St. Joseph Hospital keeps pace with the most advanced imaging, the Radiology team's training is ongoing.
In addition to the clinical professionals and radiologists, the 200-member Radiology and Imaging Services team includes such support staff as a compliance officer to ensure that patients' rights are always protected, a staff educator and a Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) group for digital image management.
