The Patient Rehabilitation Services Department of St. Joseph Hospital provides a vast array of services, including those of licensed Occupational, Physical, Speech, and Lymphedema therapists, to meet the rehabilitation needs of patients.
We offer various specialized services for many conditions including, work-related injuries, post-operative therapy, lymphedema, speech problems and swallowing problems. Our staff includes a Certified Hand Specialist as well as a Certified Orthopedic Specialist. The department also offers a unique neuro-program for patients with stroke or other neurological diagnoses and their families. |

Our Mission
The Department of Physical Rehabilitation Services treats patients of 17 years and older, afflicted with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses by:
- Providing professional instruction and emotional support in order to restore optimal function and self-esteem, so that the patient can live life to the fullest.
- Assisting and encouraging patients to utilize the required hospital and community resources.
- Treating each individual as a whole person: mind, body, and spirit
- We also provide consultation to businesses in work injury reduction, employee assessment, job site assessment, and other work-related services.
