There are 12 600-square-foot and two 700-square foot rooms, all equipped with today's most sophisticated technology. Each OR has flat panel display monitors for the surgeon's crystal-clear viewing of procedures. Surgeries can also be broadcast in real time, allowing specialized surgeons to assist and observe procedures from anywhere int he world. In every OR a digital file system provides immediate access to patient information. Voice and touch screen controls and ceiling-mounted booms that reduce clutter and carry medical equipment are all part of an evidence-based design, equipping the staff to optimize the patient's safety and recovery.
