Clinical Trials

The Sentinel Lymph Node Working Group (SLNWG), part of the Sentinel Node Oncology Foundation, consists of investigators from the United States and around the world. The SLNWG was formed to prospectively collect and maintain follow-up data on melanoma patients, as well as other patients undergoing sentinel lymph node biopsy procedures. The data will be used to determine outcomes and establish a pattern of recurrence for patients undergoing selective Sentinel Lymph Node Dissection. Also, with further analysis of this database in a coherent fashion, new studies will be developed and therapeutic protocols designed for peer-review and publication.
