Participating in a support group where you can share information and feelings with other cancer patients can be an important part of the process of healing and improving your quality of life. The following are some support groups that meet at or near St. Joseph Hospital .

BRCA Education and Network Series
An opportunity for high-risk patients to obtain valuable information and education from experts in the field while also networking with others who have BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutation.

Breast Cancer Educational Support Group
This program is for patients diagnosed with breast cancer and their significant other who would like to meet with others on the same journey.

Young Women with Breast Cancer Support Group

"In Your Shoes" Family of Cancer Survivors
This program is for newly diagnosed patients going through the journey of cancer who would like to be connected to someone who has already walked in their shoes. Please contact Clinical Social Work at (714) 734-6279, to be connected to one of our cancer survivors.

Look Good…Feel Better Program
A free program for women receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatments that teaches make-up, hair styling and skin care techniques, to help deal with appearance changes that may occur. Registration required: Please call the American Cancer Society at (800) 227-2345
