Pediatric RN and Pediatric Rehab staff manage all of the patients in the Pediatric Program. Patients cared for in this program have needs that are very complex in nature and require the skills of clinical caregivers with pediatric experience. Patients managed in this program are often chronically ill and/or require hi-tech nursing care. Pediatric nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be reached at (714) 712-9500.
Neonatal Pediatric Services
The pediatric program offers a highly skilled team of experienced neonatal/pediatric nurses and therapists available to care for all pediatric needs. Our nurses are available 24-hours, 7 days a week to provide and manage patient care, offer guidance and support to families and facilitate referrals from physicians and hospitals. We have the capability of offering a full range of specialized services, including:
- Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy
- Enterostomal Therapy
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers
- Medication Therapy, including IV antibiotics, SQ, IM, GCSF, IVIG, Growth Hormone
- IV Therapy, including hydration, TPN/IL, peripheral IV therapy, VAD care
- Mother/Baby assessment
- High risk infant care:
- Prematurity
- Birth complications
- Respiratory problems
- Feeding difficulties
- Congenital anomalies
- Cardiac defects
- Apnea monitors
- Phototherapy
- Enteral therapy, including GT, JT, NG teaching
- Respiratory needs, including oxygen and tracheostomy care
- Chronic needs:
