Self-Pay Discount Program

Patients without private insurance or government coverage (such as Medicare or Medicaid) who do not qualify for St. Joseph Hospital's Financial Assistance Program will automatically receive a forty-five percent (45%) discount off total billed charges. These same patients will also be offered a prompt pay discount of 10% off total billed charges, if payment is made within 10 calendar days of receiving a Patient Friendly Billing Statement. There is no application process and no evaluation of the individual patient’s ability to pay.

Patients with insurance, government coverage and/or those who qualify for the Financial Assistance Program are not eligible to participate in this Self-Pay Discount Program.
