Surgical Treatment

When oral and external device therapies do not achieve successful results, surgical treatment may be the next course of treatment.

Penile implants

Reconstructive prosthetic surgery (or a penile implant) can achieve a high satisfaction rate. Implants involve placing devices into the erectile chambers of the penis (the corpora cavernosa). The devices are either inflatable or semi-rigid rods. Inflatable implants can be expanded using pressurized fluid. Rods can be manually adjusted.
