FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered)
A nonprofit organization for women with increased risk of cancer due to
family history and genetic status, and for members of families in which
a BRCA gene mutation may be present.
Genetic Alliance increases the capacity of genetic advocacy groups to
achieve their missions and leverages the voices of millions of individuals
and families living with genetic conditions. As a coalition of hundreds
of genetic advocacy organizations, health professionals, clinics, hospitals
and companies, Genetic Alliance is at the crossroads of the genetics community.
The National Breast Cancer Coalition
The National Breast Cancer Coalition is a grassroots advocacy effort in
the fight against breast cancer. In 1991, the Coalition was formed with
one mission - to eradicate breast cancer through action and advocacy.
The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition
The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s mission is to raise awareness
about ovarian cancer and to promote education about this disease. By dispelling
myths and misunderstandings, the Coalition is committed to improving the
overall survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.

Ovarian Cancer Orange County Alliance
The Ovrian Cancer Orange County Alliance (OCOCA), is comprised of ovarian
cancer survivors, friends, and family members who have been touched by
ovarian ancer, and medical and health care professionals. OCOCA works
to educate the community about ovarian cancer. Education and awareenss
is the key to early diagnosis - and early diagnsis is the key to survival.
OCOCA assists newly diagnosed women and women in treatment for ovarian
cancer by offering outreach, information, and telephone support.
Young Survival Coalition
The Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the only international, non-profit
network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the concerns
and issues that are unique to young women and breast cancer. Through action,
advocacy and awareness, the YSC seeks to educate the medical, research,
breast cancer and legislative communities, and to persuade them to address
breast cancer in women 40 and under. The YSC also serves as a point of
contact for young women living with breast cancer.
