Dosimetrists

The dosimetrist is integral in the development of the treatment planning process. A dosimetrist is a member of the radiation oncology team who has the knowledge of the overall characteristics and relevance of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment, is knowledgeable of the procedures commonly used in brachytherapy, and has the education and expertise necessary to produce dose calculations in collaboration with the physicist and radiation oncologist.

All the dosimetrists are certified by the Medical Dosimetrists Certification Board (MDCB).
