Some health plans require that your pre-operative tests be performed at their contracted facilities. Please check with your physician to determine where your tests should be performed. If you having your pre-operative tests (e.g., lab, X-ray, EKG) performed at the St. Joseph Hospital Outpatient Pavilion, click here for a campus map. The Outpatient Pavilion is located south of the hospital (on the south side of La Veta Ave). The address is: 1140 W. La Veta Ave., Orange, Calif. 92868. Parking is available in the structure directly behind the Outpatient Pavilion.
The St. Joseph Hospital Outpatient Pavilion Lab is open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. When you arrive at the Outpatient Pavilion for pre-operative testing, please go to the Outpatient Registration department located on the first floor. Please be prepared to provide your insurance card(s) and information about the person who is the primary insurance carrier.
Prior to your admission, if no pre-operative testing is performed at the Outpatient Pavilion, a representative from the St. Joseph Hospital Admitting Department will call you to obtain information for your admission. If the Admitting Department is unable to reach you, you will be asked for this information when you arrive on the day of your admission.
