In keeping with the Mission and Values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, the St. Joseph Hospital Spiritual Care department offers spiritual support and comfort to all our patients, families and staff.
The Spiritual Care Department consists of an interfaith team of board-certified chaplains who offer holistic ministry. We are here to care for spiritual, religious, emotional and ethical concerns.
While you or your loved one is a patient at St. Joseph Hospital the following assistance is available:

Chapel and Reflection Room Locations
The hospital Chapel is located on the first floor of the main hospital, adjacent to elevators 4 and 5. The Reflection Room is located just off the first floor lobby, adjacent to the Surgical Waiting Area.
Both the Chapel and Reflection Room are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and welcome all for prayer, meditation or quiet time. These peaceful settings provide a haven for those of all faiths, with Muslim prayer rugs and Korans provided as well as Bibles and Christian literature.
Mass Schedule
Monday - Friday, Noon
Saturday, 5 p.m.
Sunday, 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Mass is presented in the hospital Chapel, located on the first floor of the main hospital, adjacent to elevators 4 and 5. It may also be viewed in the hospital on Channel 3.
Clinical Pastoral Education
St. Joseph Hospital, ACPE, is accredited to offer Level I / II and Supervisory CPE under the Standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc., 1549 Clairmont Road, Suite 103, Decatur, GA 30033; (404) 320-1472 or www.acpe.edu
The Spiritual Care Department also sponsors the St. Joseph Health System’s Regional Clinical Pastoral Education Program (CPE). This program educates supervises and guides students to become a board-certified chaplain through the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, Association of Professional Chaplains and the Association of Jewish Chaplains.
