Nutrition is important in your recovery. The Food and Nutritional Services department provides appetizing meals prepared in accordance with your doctor’s orders. Patients are encouraged to rely on hospital services for their intake of food and beverages. Please advise your nurse of any cultural or religious food preferences. In the event that you or your family bring food into the hospital, please contact your nurse to ensure that it meets your dietary restrictions and can be included in the record of your food and liquid intake.
 There is a Registered Dietitian assigned to each unit to take care of your nutritional needs and to provide nutrition education when necessary.
