Patient safety and comfort throughout surgery and major diagnostic procedures are the top priorities of the St. Joseph Hospital Department of Anesthesiology.  A full range of the latest, evidence-based techniques are utilized in operating rooms, delivery rooms and procedure areas.  Prior to each planned procedure, the anesthesiologist scheduled to care for the patient at the time of surgery will personally conduct a pre-operative evaluation to formulate an appropriate, individualized anesthesia plan.
